Hilary Lloyd - film installations

The Artist, Hilary Lloyd most recent film works create a sense of disconnection between the viewer and her work. She places certain stresses on her work in terms how it is seen as well as what is on the screen. The projectors she uses help to form part of the work itself, as they are placed in the fore-ground of the installations.

''Often when you make films, you are documenting something, and its really obviously clear that I'm not...I might notice things that have a particular aspect about them, maybe they're particularly shiny'' or particularly gridded and that's a useful kinda thing to film...and how would I do it?'' H. Lloyd - channel 4 turner prize 2011.
